The Izzo Brothers
Who are the Izzo brothers
Three brothers running extreme distances…together. Inspiring others to be active. Creating unique ways to build brand awareness for companies.
The Izzo brothers have created large-scale activations centered on running, building a high-visibility platform for companies to grow brand awareness and showcase their products. Past events include the “Izzo Brothers Treadmill Challenge” at the NYC Marathon Expo, running over 150 miles each with more than 100k people in attendance.
Intertwining their professional work experience with their passion for running, the Izzo brothers created a fundraising platform to raise awareness and donations for charities at the heart of the running community. In 2019, they raised more than $130k during the Izzo Brothers Treadmill Challenges in Houston and NYC. From brainstorming to execution, the Izzo brothers work with sponsors, high-level donors and event leaders to create unique, interactive and inspiring experiences.
From road to trail to treadmill, Paul, Stephen and Matt have completed ultra marathons throughout the country, racing through various altitudes, climates and terrain. The support they give one another – when one needs to walk, they all walk, when one needs to sit, they all sit, when one wants to pick up the pace, they all pick up the pace – is the core of their success. Additionally, all three brothers are fueled by plant-based diets and strive to educate others on the health and athletic capabilities of being “no meat” athletes.
“All for one, one for all!” Growing up in a military family, the strong bond that the Izzo brothers shared helped get them through dozens of long-distance moves throughout the country. Now, that bond still helps them get through long distance moves…only this time on foot. Having now run 33 ultra races together with a total of 4,000+ miles and counting, the Izzo brothers demonstrate the ability to overcome and persevere through unthinkable challenges together. They look to be an inspiration and example in the running community of the power of shared goals.
